Appointment of non-executive Director
International Hotel Investments plc announces that with effect from 17th December 2009 Mr Binod Narasimhan has been appointed as a non-executive Director.
Mr. Narasimham is Chief Financial Officer of Istithmar World is responsible for the accounting, risk management, financial and strategic planning for the business worldwide and has over 20 years of experience in consulting and financial management in the hotel and investment business.
Prior to joining Istithmar World, Mr. Narasimham was Director of Finance with Qatar National Hotels Company, where he also held several other key finance positions, in which capacity, apart from overseeing accounting and reporting of the company, he also performed investment analysis, capital structuring, M&A analysis and providing support for start-up businesses.
A qualified chartered accountant, Mr. Narasimham holds a bachelor's degree in science and started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Narasimham, an Indian national passport no. Z1793460 resides at Villa 20/52 Street 22C, Al Safa 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
There is no matter regarding disclosures under Listing Rules 8.16.3 and 8.16.8.
