Appointment of Non-Executive Director

International Hotel Investments p.l.c. announces that with effect from 23rd July 2010 Mr Michael Beckett has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director.

Mr Beckett has considerable expertise as an Independent Director in international mining, industrial and leisure companies. Among other directorships, Mr Beckett is currently Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Thomas Cook, non-Executive Chairman of Endeavour Financial Corporation in Canada and Non-Executive Director of Northam Platinum in South Africa.

Mr Beckett, a British national passport number 099094836 resides at Northcroft, Dulwich Common, London SE21 7EW, England, United Kingdom.

There is no matter regarding disclosures under Listing Rules 8.16.3 to 8.16.8.
